Abstract
Open Educational Resources (OER) are curriculum resources that have been purposely made available for free use in other educational contexts. While the concept of OER is attractive and has generated much enthusiasm especially for education in developing countries, little is known about the incorporation of OER into real curricula. This panel discusses the experiences of a project to co-develop university courses using OER from five perspectives: the curriculum development, searching, quality, complexities for large organizations, the inclusion of dynamic and social content.
