Abstract

The present study has a three pronged purpose: one, describe how faculty support policies exist at four higher education institutions. Two, explore how four higher education institutions, each representative of a unique level of centralization and business practices according to the Epper and Garn taxonomy, implemented the faculty support policies recommended by the Distance Learning Policy Laboratory. Last, in spite of institutions’ uniqueness in terms of degree of centralization and business practices, explore similarities in faculty support policies across the selected higher education institutions.
