This paper illustrates the potential availability and impact of pre-existing resources at institutions of higher education that might be leveraged for K-12 STEM student and teacher engagement. The authors present three case studies, each employing different resources and reaching different numbers of children but exhibiting high levels of impact and addressing the challenge to provide more engaging or hands-on learning opportunities to the community.
