This study aims at analyzing how the HUD affect on the of learning in Second Life. The results are as follows. It analyzes the effect of HUD on learning immersion in Second Life. The user-driven and usability of HUD affect on the learning immersion in Second Life. In brief the more the learners recognizes the usefulness of HUD in Second Life, the more the learner gets themselves absorbed in the learning. To sum up, it is found that the usability that educational designed HUD is practically helpful for learning immersion and reduction of Communication-fatigue in Second Life. In addition, it is shown that the HUD that help to facilitate learning in Second Life is recognize participating in learning immersion. The applications of Second Life will be gradually enlarged. Therefore it requires further studies on the scaffolding-tool like a HUD for who use Second Life in learning. Especially it is necessary to study characteristics of learners who learning in various environments.
