The Web Conferencing as a Pedagogical Tool. A Brazilian Experience.

Web conferencing is video conferencing using the Internet, when applied in educational settings online enables a new paradigm for teaching through classroom connected. This article presents the results of a Brazilian research at the Faculty of Education at the University of Brasilia - UnB, where web conferencing is been used as the primary teaching tool in a mastering course. The focus of research was the didactic transposition of the teacher when changing from traditional classroom teaching to the virtual environment. Special attention is given to the potential of web conferencing as implementer for collaborative communities of teaching and learning network.
