Evaluation Framework for b-learning PROCEEDINGS

In this paper we describe a governance system supported by an evaluation framework to measure the success and level of acceptance of new products and services in our community of a “b-learning” platform used at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana campus Azcapotzalco (UAM-A) in the Basic Sciences and Engineering Division (CBID). This framework, based on CobiT 4.1, has the main purpose for which it was made and there are a few good ideas for improvement. The domains included in the evaluation framework are: planning, implementation, service delivery, monitoring and evaluation. Also has four evaluation dimensions: effectiveness, efficiency, integrity and availability. After four years of working with “b-learning” we found that technology became very important to improve teaching and learning processes and we need tools that help us to improve the teaching and learning process. The key elements to be used in the evaluation framework in the next twelve months are surveys, questionnaires and quality circles.
