Abstract

This panel session introduces three examples of distance learning enrichment activities and provides the basis for audience-panel dialog comparing and contrasting benefits and limitations of various approaches. The foundation for the panel comes from a chapter in the recently-released International Handbook for Information Technology in Primary and Secondary Education entitled Distance Learning - Enrichment: A Pacific Perspective (Southworth, Ho, & Narita, 2008).
