In this paper we present the Kernel Design for a Semantic Learning Platform. Information exchange between the platform’s modules is made through that kernel. Serving as central unit, the kernel makes use of semantic technologies to facilitate context transmission of information and provide consistent knowledge retrieval. By taking advantage of semantic technologies used by kernel and other modules with which it communicates, the Semantic Kernel can provide highly personalized learning content for learner. That will result in a more efficient, faster and better learning process for learners.
