Abstract
The Distance Course Design and Consulting Group (DCDC) was established at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in January 2008 through a federal grant. Staffed by a small but diverse team, the DCDC is now involved in multiple higher education online course design projects. This poster/demonstration session will showcase samples of the DCDC’s online course products and offer a closer look at how the team applies technology in cost-effective ways to develop online courses. Design and development workflow strategies and tools used when working with academic departments and faculty will also be addressed.
