Abstract
Abstract: Guided by a number of educational theories such as adult learning theory, information processing theory, dual coding theory and the theory of multiple intelligences, the Center for Teaching Excellence and Learning Technologies (CTELT) at Fort Hays State University designed an online resource to orient and support new faculty. This online resource includes information about several areas including academia, technologies, resources, campus, and community. In doing this, CTELT not only wants to provide useful resources to new faculty, but also hope to model practice in developing an online course.
