Abstract

More and more e-learning technologies, methods, lectures and business strategies make a lot of choices for people who want to study over the Internet environment. This paper describes the essential structures, conditions and components of switching costs on current e-learning systems usually set up for commercial purposes. Generally switching costs on e-learning systems are coming from several reasons of customers out there on average. Those are network costs, learning costs, financial costs and searching costs even some features could be overlapped technically. We found that even e-learning’s product nature is somewhat different from other industries’ product nature switching costs are critical for customers. Simply speaking, it all comes down to customer.
