Organizing e-Mentors: Development and Management

In this session, development and management process of e-mentors or online learning supporters at a Japanese University are discussed. The author and his colleagues considered e-mentoring or learner support activities with communication online as the key to successful e-Learning and developed systematic training courses, guidelines, systems and managing methods. In the presentation, its management strategies, guidelines designed for effective e-mentoring, lessons learned through activities are to be described/demonstrated.
