Abstract

This paper and Roundtable Discussion addresses the use of blogs, wikis and social networks for e-learning as compared to platforms such as Blackboard/WebCT and now Livetext. How well are professors and students responding to these technologies? Is one platform really better than the other? Where are the greatest successes? Have the students and faculty kept pace with the newest technologies or have we reached a point of stagnation? Actual e-classroom work samples will be shared as well as suggestions for moving forward. Roundtable participants are be encouraged to share ideas; network and collaborate as they desire.
