Abstract
This panel will explore the advantages and disadvantages of using a variety of multimedia products as they design for online learning environments and postulate that, "effective media can enhance educational content and impact how students interact with the educational content." The authors also suggest and will investigate what some critics of educational media claim, that educational media is not critical to learning and skill development.
