Wikis As a Social Justice Environment

This paper explores the use of the online media of wikis as an interactive forum in which participants construct a social justice forum that is equitable to all participants. Wikis as a media tool provide a context where all participants have an equal opportunity to deconstruct and reconstruct knowledge. This wiki was used in an American studies course: Diversity and Social Justice to deconstruct and reconstruct social justice issues in terms of the participants by the participants.
