We demonstrate the SGEM (Sistema de Guias de Estudios Modelo, Model Subject Syllabus System). This system was developed at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico for a distributed processing of standardized documents that implement undergraduate curricula. The system enables: a) faculty to develop and continuously review a "framework compliant" syllabus, b) program coordinators for supervising the development and review process, and c) the educational learning services department to efficiently monitor and evaluate the university-wide process. This system which has proven reliable and efficient was developed and implemented from the previous experience emerging from our open source LMS - SOFIA (2003).
