Abstract

The teacher preparation faculty at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center has a commitment to on-going professional development. As a result of their participation in a federally funded Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Data grant, they have gone through a systematic process to fundamentally change the way they teach. We will be presenting how we have implemented changes in our teacher education program to incorporate IBEP and data technologies to enhance the readiness of our teacher candidates to meet the vision and the requirements of the No Child Left Behind legislation.
