Abstract

Interaction and collaboration are critical for a successful online class. However, for many online teachers, figuring out what strategies and practices to implement for designing, developing, and delivering a technology-enriched online course to promote online interaction and collaboration is a challenge. This article intends to discuss and illustrate how to promote online interaction and collaboration with different activities in an online graduate course. Challenges and some practical strategies for designing, delivering, and evaluating the course will be discussed to help novice classroom teachers create an effective online learning environment and teach efficiently.
