Abstract
Through study abroad experiences, students are provided the opportunity to expand their world views. However, due to the pandemic, institutions of higher education have been unable to offer these in-country international experiences. As a result of innovative technologies, faculty are offering immersive virtual experiences to students interested in exploring other countries and cultures. This presentation will provide an overview of the benefits of study abroad and how educators can develop curriculum that encompasses virtual in-country experiences.
