The rapid advances in technology has allowed for the growth of collaborative e- learning experiences unconstrained by time and space. This paper examines the use of technology as a tool to support e-learning. Further, the role of constructivist teaching methodology to enhance e-learning is explored. Finally, the author discusses the role of interactive, usable and relevant e-learning content for effective e-learning outcomes even as instructors continue to make the best use of the characteristics and capacities of this powerful learning environment.
