Abstract
There are challenges and rewards in developing and managing a successful cohort-based doctoral degree program in Educational Technology Leadership. Emerging digital networks, powerful platforms, on-line learners, and focused instructors fused together to create an exciting and innovative instructional force in higher education, namely a cohort. From online discussions to papers, onsite and offsite activities, and a plethora of collaborative and innovative projects, the benefits and rewards within this educational technology leadership program initiate the enthusiasm, richness, validity, and bonding of professionals as change agents undertaking challenges and risks under an umbrella and unity as a community of practice.
