Abstract

This paper describes the work carried out in the development of this educational technology tool, and the process of continuous improvement and testing out which will be carried out during this current and next semesters using usability engineering. During the last semester, (August - December 2004), the educational technology department worked on a new web project that will allow the professor to do changes on their course in a simple way using a multimedia environment, yet still based on the new educational model. With this tool the course will have an easy process of continuous improvement throughout all the semesters to come. This web educational application is flexible and was developed using an hypermedia environment. It is able to be integrated on WebTec, Blackboard, WebCT platforms, and so on. Some of the development tools and technologies used were: xml, css, php languaje and macromedia flash.
