Abstract

This paper describes findings from a year-long study which was situated in a distributed and technology-mediated learning environment where participants used "lesson study" to collaborate on the design and implementation of an "issues centered" economics unit. Integral to the unit design was the use of Texas Instruments handheld and wireless technologies.
