This paper focuses on three aspects concerning Encounters of a Visual Type, an instructive website dedicated to 20th century visual culture, principally examining reciprocal relations between Art, Architecture and Design. This instructive website containing both informative and analytical items was initially designed for high-school Israeli students specializing in design arts studies. The first aspect presents an analysis of the special features characterizing this website, the second, focuses on a discussion about the premises upon which it was developed and the third, demonstrates the added-value of its features and premises to the understanding of 20th century and contemporary visual culture.
