Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate learning performances of students in vocational colleges on problem solving, logical thinking ability and programming language by problem based cooperative learning of different heterogeneous grouping. In order to efficiently achieve the purpose of this research, the method of quasi-experiment research was used. The research instruments consisted of demographic survey, cognitive style tests, programming language learning attitude scales, programming language learning achievement pre-test and post-test scale, problem solving learning attitude scale, problem solving learning ability scale, Problem Based learning materials of programming language.One class carried on cognitive style heterogeneous grouping (forty-eight sample students) was experimental group 1. The other class carried on schoolwork achievement heterogeneous grouping (forty-eight sample students) was experimental group 2.
