Abstract

In the paper, a model is proposed to obtain the student profile based on the style of learning and the way to think. With this purpose, a computer system was developed that considers the model of the student profile applied to an object-oriented programming course (OOP). The system is a tool for analyzing student performance; in particular, in the area of OOP. This tool allowed relating the profiles of the student with the performance in the course. The results obtained will allow the development of personalized tools according to the identified student profile to try to improve their skill in a particular area of study. In this case, it is about OOP.
