Abstract

Students are often expected to establish connections and share knowledge for group collaborative work in various cases. There often is significant imbalanced participation and contribution by each group member. Collaboration tools can be used to help ensure that each member contributes using online software tools. Students are able to improve learning with the assistance of the instructor and other students in this technique of creating a group knowledge map.
