Abstract
The paper reports on the experience of an outcome-based university in the Gulf region in the use of eFolio for learning. We identified five constructs related to eFolios from students’ perspectives: learning, assessment, reflection, improvement, and evaluation. We explain the eFolio development process and then reported on students’ feedback. Key findings are as follows: a) students feedback were positive towards the use of eFolio, especially regarding documenting their learning and learning through reflection; b) the eFolio assisted them to monitor their academic progress towards achieving their degree programs; and c) students think that the evaluation of their eFolios is a better way to assess their knowledge than using regular assessments (i.e. tests or exams).
