Abstract

Subjects were assigned randomly to one of four treatments: study guide only, summary audiotape, compressed speech audiotape, and no review. Groups using the first two techniques demonstrated significantly better retention than a nonreview control group; no significant difference was found between the group using compressed speech and the control group.
