Abstract

This paper presents a study on the effects of audio and video (i.e., podcasting) on students’ perceptions of connectedness and satisfaction with online learning. We will argue that while podcasting can decrease communication between instructors and students, it creates a perception of increased connectedness and satisfaction with online learning among both instructors and students.
