Abstract

This presentation will highlight the results and lessons learned using a flipped teaching model in a preservice education course. This action research project occurred over the course of 3 semesters and the discussion will focus on two aspects of the flip; the technology needed to construct the “outside” portion of the flip and the pedagogical strategies to make what occurs “inside” the classroom meaningful. There will be emphasis on the opportunities that exist to model highly-effective teaching strategies as well as quality technology-integration for preservice teachers.
