A project aimed at fostering teachers’ decision-making in research-based pedagogical innovation is currently culminating in the beta test of a web-based learning tool, PedaGO. This presentation reports on how the design and use of the software reflects a decision-making perspective that was articulated in a previous conceptual analysis and cognitive task analysis (Mercier, 2012). The implementation of an interactive learning environment (ILE) providing on-demand help is currently taking place in undergraduate and graduate courses, which are also structured according to the model of research literacy. The discussion will also include the current strategies to incrementally implement and refine the content of the ILE as well as scale up its use.
