One of the latest trends in BYOT is wearable tech such as Google Glass. While there exist significant learning capabilities to wearable tech, there are also significant technical challenges along with learning model and organizational adaptation. This work in progress showcase paper identifies factors associated with wearable technology acceptance, develops an explanatory wearable technology acceptance model (WTAM), and develops recommendations for the practical steps and best practices for wearable technology adoption in a learning environment using Google Glass.
