More and more technology is an extension of ourselves. Wearable technologies such as Google Glass is no exception. It provides opportunities for Glass wearers to have seamless interaction with the world around them. To collaborate, create, and reflect with their environment and the greater community. For educators, this mini-wearable, hands-free computer with a head-mounted display aids in providing enhanced flexibility to information, opportunities for seamless collaboration, and a potential for sharing and ultimately learning. This exploratory research study investigated this wearable technology in two instructional settings. It was determined that this seamless immersive technology tool provided more connectivity and integration of information within the learning environment. However, more applied research needs to be done to see how wearable technologies can best be utilized in an education classroom setting for optimum teaching and learning effectiveness.
