Abstract

The development of the "Virtual Organization" is a concept, designed to immerse students into realistic and experiential problem-solving situations within the context of more traditional educational boundaries. The resulting experience increases the relevancy of instruction, necessitates higher-order cognitive processing and facilitates authentic forms of assessment.
