Abstract
Continued technology infusion in physical science is needed. Global Positioning Systems help achieve the goal of infusing education with much needed technology. Several reasons for the infusion of technology using GPS will be examined throughout this paper. A sample GPS unit, with lesson plans, integrated into a physical science curriculum using the State of Michigan objectives will demonstrate how the use of GPS can enhance secondary science education. Preliminary evaluation of the unit is also included.
