Abstract

As social environments have entered the age of information, many changes have occurred in ministerial circumstances. Thus, pastors are facing the demands of the times to effectively incorporate multi-media in their pastoral ministries, with the understanding and abilities to use them. In this regard, this study has been conducted to educate pastoral ministers about multi-media.

The study, in chapter two, reviews biblical, theological, and historical backgrounds of the tools for effective ministry. In chapter three, it also deals with other studies and theories on the same topic, and examples of their practical applications. The fourth chapter explains the validity of the research method and procedure. The result of the implementation of present study is suggested in the fifth chapter. And the last chapter includes interpretations and conclusions of the results, recommendations for future research, and theological reflections.

For this research, fifteen pastors have been selected and trained for ten weeks through the electronic board. The study shows that educated pastors improved their understanding about multi-media, and came to actively use them in their ministry context.
