Abstract

Communities of practice, such as the Open Source Software movement, exhibit accelerating organizational learning and innovation, creating a snowball effect that we call organizational brilliance. Organizational brilliance creates a hyper-competitive advantage "" an unbeatable force driven by continuous learning and innovation. This paper explores models of knowledge capture, sharing, learning, and processes for knowledge personalization. All of these capabilities are vital to the creation of the learning and innovation cycles that produce organizational brilliance.
