Chinese, like most languages that do not employ a Western alphabet, is difficult for native English speakers to master. Multimedia materials can be very helpful in the teaching/learning process. Web-based resources provide many free, valuable multimedia learning materials, but accessing them and organizing them can be a demanding task. This article will describe the advantages of using Pinterest, a free, web-based social networking tool, to organize multimedia materials for use in curriculum and instruction in Chinese and other foreign language instruction.
