Abstract

According to different views of learning, cooperation and collaboration are important factors to implement in a learning situation. The use of learning management systems will influence how to teach and study, but the implications of these tools related to cooperation are not fully investigated. External factors have grate impact on how learning management systems work. The tools do not by themselves lead to cooperation and collaboration, but this has to be stimulated through a holistic pedagogical learning environment. The learning environment systems also function differently according to Computer Supported Collaborative Learning, and Computer Supported Cooperative Work. This is important in evaluation of these kinds of tools.
