Abstract

This presentation will describe and report the findings from two offerings of a new online course on "engaged learning with technology" delivered to K12 inservice teachers. The course emerged as a university-business partnership activity. An overview of the partnership, the framework for course content and design, and research results will be presented. Recommendations for best practices for assisting inservice teachers in developing and implementing technology-rich and engaging learning activities will be offered.
