Abstract
EVA_pm, is a method and at the same time a constructivist web-based environment that has as it's main goal to scaffold Project-Based e-Learning in higher education. More precise, it focuses on improving the effectiveness of pedagogical models that are based on projects (usually called Project-Based Learning, project method or project approach). It leverages XML (eXtended Markup Language) and suggests a rich vocabulary (DTD) for the project/research plan as a prompting and reflection tool. Moreover, an online toolset ("commNcontrol") is provided for teamwork, visualization, communication, peer benefits and progress tracking. Finally, a second vocabulary is provided for the final paper on the project and dissemination of the project products is being done through a portal that is called "Virtual Book". This is an ongoing study and current results will be reported here.
