Abstract
This paper will discuss the components and structure of the I CARE model developed by Hoffman and Ritchie to develop modules for online instruction. The I CARE model was used to restructure learning modules created by novice designers in an intro to instructional design course in the Fall of 2012. The developed and restructured modules are to be used by students in an introductory educational technology course on web 2.0 applications.
