Abstract

Lesson studies that have used teaching portfolios such as teaching plans and video have been focused on in recent years. However, there are problems at present where the activities of lesson studies are separated due to teaching portfolios being created and accumulated in isolation and their form and method of accumulation are varied. We developed a description language in this study by establishing the form of teaching portfolios and a method of accumulation and we propose a method of describing them formally. Teaching portfolios on all activities of lesson studies are accumulated while keeping meaningful connections, and lesson studies effectively utilizing teaching portfolios are achieved by developing a system based on this description language.
