Abstract

The IT services of Campus Saint-Jean, University of Alberta, in conjunction with oohoo.biz, have been developing a number of open source and freely available Moodle enhancements over the years. This has led to a wide variety of tools that can be used for teaching, research and administration mainly in a university setting, but also more broadly in any educational institution and in private institutions in which formation plays a significant role. We wish to present a number of these enhancements, confident that they will be of benefit to others in the field of learning. Together, they form a formidable suite of tools that can help improve the teaching, research and administration experience. During the live presentation, we will show a sample of the tools. The selection of these will depend on the audience feedback and interests.
