Abstract

STACK, System for Teaching and Assessment using a Computer algebra Kernel, is a system of a computer aided assessment package for science subjects as mathematics. We have been using the system in teaching differential equations in a math class. STACK can provide a history of what answers students entered and we can find students’ weak points by investigating the history. We can create a multi-part question; a question that has several sub-questions. However plotting a graph is limited to only for one-variable function and this confines sorts of questions and explaining worked solutions. In order to overcome the limitation, we enhanced the plotting function by the use of MapleNet.
