Abstract

This paper outlines instructional design considerations for mobile assisted language learning (MALL). The tools available to facilitate mobile assisted language learning exist on a continuum of media richness and interactivity. Instructional designers must carefully consider both the pedagogical affordances and constraints of mobile technology in order to maximize the full potential of MALL.
