In recent few years, English learning became an important course in school in Taiwan. There have been many methods be proposed in language learning in class. Storytelling is one of the methods to help improving the capability of language. There also have been many researches be proposed to use robots to enhance the engagement of students. Therefore, in this paper, we designed a system for supporting storytelling activities in class for English learning. In class, teachers can immerse the content of English course to their story and using our system to construct the storytelling environment and perform the storytelling activities with robot in our staged-base storytelling environment. Students also can use it to apply the words or sentences they learned in class. The main idea of our research is helping teachers teach English and raising the engagement of students for improving the learning motivation by using our system in class.
