Abstract

There are various key factors that contribute to a successful online program. This panel discussion covers five factors including online program administration, program-wide philosophy of online instruction, faculty training and technology support, online program instructional strategies, and online program assessment. Viewpoints will be presented by the panelists and discussed with the audience. This panel discussion will be a mutual learning experience for both panelists and audience. The goal of the panel discussion is to help higher education improve online programs that will best benefit the field of information technology and teacher education.
