Abstract

Providing learners with the best online learning experience can be a challenge for instructors to do on their own. Our team of experts provides services in design, production, delivery and support of online courses to our university faculties and units. Our poster session will focus on the processes involved in designing, delivering and supporting approximately 150 online courses from various faculties such as Dentistry, Arts, Forestry, Nursing and more. From a web designer’s perspective, we also will show you how we try to improve students’ online learning experience by maintaining consistency in the navigation of content and tools while still providing an aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully designed interface. One of our key goals is to ensure that learners focus on the content and not on the technology. We will be showing examples of current online courses that we have designed and delivered.
